Carl’s eldest daughter, Salem Carney Scholten, gave birth to his and Teddy’s first grandchild, Nash Benjamin, this week AND went live with her first website! Salem is an extremely talented interior designer who works with residential and commercial clients in South Carolina’s Low Country. She started her career helping with Davie Construction Co. projects as a teenager, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina in interior design and business entrepreneurship, and worked as a design specialist for a large home furnishings retailer. Salem started Simply Salem Designs over a year ago, and her new website highlights the many projects she has created for her growing list of appreciative clients.
