Rickie Shutt

"I have had the privilege of working in the construction industry for more than four decades, managing literally every aspect of the business. I chose to continue my career at Davie Construction Co., supporting our President and CEO, Carl Carney, because I had seen over and over again his absolute commitment to producing the highest quality buildings at the best value, accomplished through straight-forward communications with his clients and vendors from start to finish. Our mission statement is simple – we build for others as we would build for ourselves."

Rickie brings a rich and diverse professional life to his leadership position at Davie Construction Co. He started as a summer laborer as an undergraduate and after college served for two years as a field engineer. He then specialized in the utility construction industry for a decade before being recruited to project manager by a large general construction firm. Rickie works directly with Carl, with his extensive management responsibilities including oversight of client satisfaction, schedule performance and field service coordination.
