Show the Love

Thank you to all our colleagues and friends who donated to The Dragonfly House Electronic Sign Fund this February!

Davie Construction Co. thanks our employees, suppliers, business associates, and friends who “Showed the Love” and donated to The Dragonfly House Child Advocacy Center Electronic Sign Fund, contributing $4,100 toward the $11,000 cost of the sign, with our company donating the balance. Thank you to Ogburn Electric Co. for donating the wiring of the sign and Davis Sign Co. for donating the installation. Carl Carney made the announcement at The Dragonfly House Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Congratulations to Executive Director, Brandi Reagan, her team, and all the dedicated people who make the dream of a new building a reality for this valuable community resource offering hope and healing to child victims of abuse in Davidson and Davie Counties.

The new Dragonfly House building is extremely functional with the critically needed additional space and complete focus on the privacy and comfort of the children served. The ambiance is very calming and nurturing with inspirational artwork and many representations of the dragonfly theme. Among these is the mural created by the women of Davie Construction Co., which features their individual pieces of art crafted into one canvas and presented to The Dragonfly House during the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
